Dubai: Film star Shine Chacko was kicked off from the plane from the Air India Dreamliner flight which was scheduled to depart from Dubai at 1.30 pm on Saturday.
The south Indian actor was in Dubai for the promotion of his new film Bharat Circus. 'Bharata Circus' is a film directed by Sohanseenu Lal. The film, starring Shine Tom Chacko, MA Nishad and Binu Pappu, hit the theaters on December 9.
After arriving at the airport to travel to Kochi, Shine was kicked off the plane due to suspicious behavior. While returning to Kerala after the Dubai promotion event, Shine tried to board the cockpit and the cabin crew intervened and asked him to go to the allotted seat. But when the actor refused, there was a minor ruckus. Then the actor was kicked off the plane.
The flight returned to Kochi without Shine. Shine has been detained by Dubai immigration authorities. His colleagues have not been able to contact him directly. People including the film's producer Anuj Shaji are at the airport. Other actors returned on the same flight.
