A large number of the bank's customers have complained on social media and in Town Dictor about not being able to access the app, transfer money and do direct debits.
AIB said: “Some customers are currently experiencing intermittent technical issues with our mobile app and internet banking.
"We are working to resolve these issues as soon as possible and apologize for any inconvenience."

The bank said that it would resolve the technical issues as soon as possible and apologize to the people who encountered them.
