Kerala: Those who struggle to clear the OET exam are cheated and exploited. Scams surrounding the OET exam have been coming out in the past few days. Information is coming out that there is a scam of crores going on under the guise of OET exam in Kerala.
A Facebook post by Jitin Lohi, who was an activist of UNA, pointed to this scam. Information is also coming out that fraud is mainly taking place in Kottayam and Ernakulam region, in Kerala state. It is also reported that there are coaching agencies that open offices all over Kerala and earn crores through such methods in addition to training.
The OET exam is administered by the Australian Agency. However, in Kerala, those who are the middlemen of this exam are doing sabotage by leaking the exam paper. It is reported that former UNA leaders are included in this. Jitin Lohi posted on Facebook last week that he had recorded some questions of the exam in advance. Jithin clarified that these questions will come.
Questions came in the exam. Jithin and others have brought this issue to the attention of OET examination authorities. They work through some leading coaching institutes as intermediaries. Big gangs demand lakhs as bribe from the students appearing for the OET exam. In return, the examiners will hand over the exam questions. There are groups that get between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10 lakh for each exam.
After taking a hotel room the night before the exam, the students are leaked the questions that will be asked. In return, lakhs are bought from students. After deducting their share, the remaining amount is handed over to the question paper cheating gang.

I keep saying that OET questions are leaking, what more proof should I give. Candidates, including nurses, who study hard and take the exam can be stupid. There is a big lobby behind these scams. Whoever is behind these scams must be brought out.
After this post, OET officials intervened and reported Jithin's Facebook post. However, again some people in UNA have informed the OET authorities about this. There will be a detailed investigation into the incident. Some Malayalis are behind the scams in the name of OET exam. Therefore, there is a strong need for a detailed investigation.

Yesterday I made a post (not the first time) that the questions of the OET exam held last Saturday (22/10/2022) were leaked and this post is because the post will be reported and removed by the OET people themselves at any moment and some things that I have come to know about these questions being leaked. Although the OET investigation has been announced in connection with the leak of Saturday's exam question papers, here are four things that could and did happen because of it.
1. The time and money of many nurses who took the exam without knowing this will probably be lost or their exam result will not be used anywhere.
2. Some nurses who study hard and take the exam have stopped studying and writing the OET exam because they know that because of the OET Benchmark, only those who get leaked questions will pass the exam.
3. Many institutions that teach good OET or their teachers will stop teaching because they know that even if they teach hard, no one will pass because those who get the questions and take the exam get more marks, the chances of the students they teach are very low.
4. The face of those who give question papers and write exams to children and post the results on social media and reject them and those who collect cash by selling questions will not be seen tomorrow.
In the questions that came out yesterday, it was learned through many that the writing module came in India and the Speaking and Reading modules came in the UK and Saudi. Many called out and informed that the question answers are always coming like this.
OET, NMC and relevant departments of the UK Government have been notified with evidence of regular leakage of OET exam question answers.
