Coventry: Indians shocked by the murder of a mother and two children in a family yesterday in the UK. The UK police have confirmed that the suspect in the case Saju is the head of the family. They are natives of Kannur in kerala state.
The search for evidence continued late into the night. Whether the sudden provocation led to the murder or there was any other reason will be clear only after the completion of the police investigation. When Saju revealed that he had committed the murder at the very beginning of the interrogation, the police decided not to extend the investigation to others. However, it is clear that the circumstances leading to the massacre will also come under the purview of the police investigation.
Saju's wife Anju (40) and children Jiva (6) and Jhanvi (4) died. Police confirmed that Anju and 1 child died at the scene and 1child later at the hospital. The initial response was that there was hope for a child, but soon that child also died.
The family recently arrived in the UK. Saju was involved in all the affairs of the local Malayalees. The Malayalees even helped him find a delivery job after he recently got his driver's license. Even close friends don't know about any family problems. Even colleagues have only good things to say about Anju. They also know very little about this family.
Saju (52), a native of Kannur, who is in police custody, is being interrogated by the police. Information received from UK Malayalees says that Saju was intoxicated when the police caught him. The police may conduct a detailed investigation into whether the Malayalam colleagues who worked with Anju faced any difficulty. The police have sought such a way in similar situations before.
