Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanks for Gujarat election victory. Modi also said that people voted for BJP regardless of caste and religion.
Modi celebrated the Gujarat victory with National President JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh at the BJP headquarters in Delhi.
The Prime Minister thanked the people of Gujarat and Himachal and said that he bowed before the power of the people. Modi said that the journey is from a developed Gujarat to a developed country and added that there is no better place to live and die than India. That is why the Prime Minister addressed the workers and said that our slogan is India First.
Even though he could not win in Himachal, the vote percentage did not decrease. It is clear from this vote percentage how much people love BJP. There will be no shortage of development in Himachal.

Modi also wrote on Twitter that he respects the decision of the people of Gujarat."This is what I want to say to every worker who worked for BJP. Each of you are champions. "BJP could never have achieved this historic victory without your hard work. You are the real strength of our party," the Prime Minister tweeted.
BJP comes to power for the seventh time in Gujarat with a history changing victory. 158 of the total 182 seats have been taken over. Congress faced its biggest setback in history with just 16 seats in Gujarat.

The current Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel will continue as the Chief Minister in Gujarat, which has achieved a historic victory. The BJP central leadership decided not to replace him. The oath will be administered on the 12th of this month at 2.00 pm.

In Himachal Pradesh, the CPM lost all the 11 seats it contested. Out of this, sitting seat Theog is in fourth position and CPM candidates are third in six seats. The CPM could not retain the only seat it won in the last election. CPM's sitting MLA Rakesh Sinha was relegated to the fourth position in Theog.

As the counting of votes for the Gujarat assembly elections is underway, reports suggest that Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) may get national party status. Aam Aadmi Party needs to win at least 6 percent vote share and at least two seats in Gujarat to get national party status. As per the results so far, AAP is leading in six seats in Gujarat. So far 12 percent votes have been won. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Thursday said that Gujarat voters will make Aam Aadmi Party a national party.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reacts to Gujarat and Himachal election results. He thanked the people for giving him a great victory in Himachal and congratulated the Congress workers for their hard work and sincere work. Rahul also said that all the promises made in the election will be implemented.
