Dublin: A nationwide status yellow ice warning has been issued in Ireland. The warning came into effect from midnight and will continue till 10.00 AM tomorrow.
Met Éireann has issued a warning of possible icy roads and footpaths. IS is likely to form tonight and tomorrow morning, leading to dangerous driving conditions on the roads as well, says the weatherman.
The UK Met Office has also issued a yellow snow warning for Northern Ireland from midnight tonight. Met Éireann is forecasting temperatures to drop between -2 and 3 degrees tonight, with temperatures between 3 and 7 degrees tomorrow. A mix of rain and cold may lead to snow at times, while snow is possible at higher elevations.
