Dublin: A new status orange weather warning has been issued for 19 authorities. The warning is in effect from 6pm tomorrow until noon on Thursday. Meanwhile, a status yellow low temperature and ice warning is in place for Ireland until Friday afternoon.

Widespread severe frost and snow will occur throughout the week, according to Met Eireann, which will be very cold weather. A status yellow freezing fog warning was in place overnight for Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, Galway, Roscommon, Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly and Westmeath.
A status yellow ice warning is in place for counties Antrim, Down and Derry in Northern Ireland. It is valid till tomorrow afternoon.
