DUBLIN: Dance training including Bharatanatyam for children and adults is starting in County Wicklow and County Kildare. Yoga, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam and classical dance can also be practised.

The classes are conducted by Kalathilakam Ritu Prakash, a famous dance teacher in Ireland and the director of Rithanjali Dance School. Ritu Prakash, an experienced Indian classical dance teacher and trained artist for the past 20 years, has hundreds of disciples across India.

Rithu Prakash holds a Masters and M Phil in Bharatanatyam from the University of Madras and currently resides in County Wicklow, Ireland. Doordarshan's Graded Artist Rithu is also on the list of ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) shortlisted artists. Rithu Prakash is also the a disciple of Dr. Neena Prasad's and Guru C.V.

Dance classes in the County Wicklow and County Kildare area are available at times and methods that are convenient for everyone. There will be separate batches for house wife marks and workers.

ABOUT RITHU PRAKASH: BHARATANATYAM,MOHINIYATTAM KUCHIPUDI, KADHAKALI DANCER & YOGA TRAINER.

Rithu Prakash is an upcoming professional Bharatanatyam dancer. Having had her tutelage under the renowned dance exponents Dr. NeenaPrasad(a Senior disciple of Guru PadmasriAdyar K. Lakashman) and Guru C.V. Chandrasekhar. A Graduate in English literature.

She completed her Post Graduation and M phil in Bharatanatyam from Madras University with first rank in 2010 and 2013 respectively. Her Bharatanatyam arangetam was held at Vailoppilly Samskriti Bhavan in the year 2008. She coveted the much acclaimed “Kalathilakam” at the Kerala University level in the year 2007-08. She is a graded Aritist of Dooradarsan. Rithu simultaneously purses her training in Karnatic music & Kathakali under Guru Changanasseri Madhavan Namboothiri & Kalamandalam Krishna Prasad respectively. She is also trained Kuchipudi under Mosalikandi Jai Kishore.
