Highs this afternoon will range from 4 to 7 degrees. Tonight, temperatures will drop between -3 and +1 degrees, with the lowest temperatures expected in Ulster (Londonderry (Derry), Antrim, Down, Tyrone, Armagh, Fermanagh, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal). Scattered wintry showers will continue for a time in Atlantic coastal counties, with a generally clear overnight and mostly dry Monday, with snow forecast to last into the morning.

Met Éireann is forecasting widespread hard snow on Monday night with temperatures dropping from 0 to -4 degrees or -5 degrees.
Tuesday will be cold and snowy with afternoon temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees and overnight lows of -2 to -6 degrees.
